Laboratory Autoclaves with Easy, Secure Programming
May 26 2015
The QCS range of front loading autoclaves with their increased load capacity, exceptional operating performance and improved autoclave programming security make them ideal for the busy laboratory environment looking to introduce improved sterilising efficiencies.
Designed and produced by laboratory autoclave specialist Priorclave at its UK manufacturing centre, the range is available in three chambers capacities of 100, 150 and 200 litres all configured around a 500mm stainless steel chamber. These chambers are produced on a unique seam welding machine developed by Priorclave that helps create one of the smoothest and cleanest sterilising chambers.
The QCS range benefits from easy, single push-button set-up of the sterilising process through the advanced Tactrol®2 microprocessor controller with secure key-lock access to pre-set sterilising programmes. It also incorporates a single-handed door opening system equipped with inherent safety features to protect staff by preventing opening at elevated temperatures and pressures. The wide door opening allows easy loading, even of heavy loads when delivered direct by trolley.
A Priorclave QCS steam steriliser provides greater versatility where the scale of items to be sterilised may vary significantly. Both small and taller items can be processed in a single machine run, making it highly likely they will be able to cater for a laboratories entire daily throughput.
In addition to guiding laboratory personnel through the simple programming the advanced Tactrol®2 microprocessor also keeps a log of the sterilising cycle data such as temperature, pressure and time. The data is held in an archive file which can be subsequently downloaded onto a USB flash drive for sending to the Service Team at Priorclave’s UK manufacturing centre. Here technical staff will analyse the data to help fine-tune the autoclave for maximum efficiency.
Built to International Standards, all QCS laboratory autoclaves incorporate epoxy coated panels and frame members, they are treated with an anti-bacterial agent that is highly effective against all bacteria and fungi including MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella and Pseudomonas, preventing cross contamination within the laboratory.
For the busy working environment the QCS autoclave range from Priorclave is ideal, by automating the sterilising process and with features to assist in autoclave management it enables laboratory staff to continue with other tasks secure in the knowledge that sterilisation is proceeding safely and efficiently.
