New 25 mL Conical Tubes for Enhanced Sample Recovery

Optimising sample preservation with the new Amber, Protein LoBind® and LoBind®

Eppendorf introduces its latest innovation in tubes, the 25 mL Conical Tube format, now available in three new versions: Amber, Protein LoBind® and DNA LoBind®.

The Amber Conical Tubes 25 mL feature an innovative material that is both highly transparent and effective in protecting the sample from low-wavelength light. This allows for safe monitoring of pipette tip immersion during liquid transfer, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

The Protein LoBind Conical Tubes reduce the risk of non-specific protein and peptide samples adhering to the tube walls, ensuring maximum sample recovery. This is crucial when working with samples of low initial concentration.

The DNA LoBind Conical Tubes enhance DNA recovery during preparation and storage for real-time PCR quantifications. The choice of vessel can impact the accuracy of DNA standard panel preparation in real-time PCR assays for absolute quantification, as evidenced by the retention of nucleic acids in vessels used for serial dilution and storage of standards.
