Perfectly Proportioned Fridge and Freezer Fit Perfectly Beneath the Workbench
May 25 2010
Lec Medical has launched a matching undercounter fridge and freezer, designed specifically for use in laboratories to fit neatly beneath the workbench.
“The new LR307 fridge and ISU37 freezer were developed after customer feedback that many existing undercounter fridges and freezers were too high for the average workbench height,” said Matt Newsome, Head of Marketing at GDPA, the company behind the Lec Medical brand. “Our research revealed that the optimum height for this equipment should be 830mm and we have achieved this without compromising on key benefits for users with the inclusion of an external digital control panel to display the internal temperature.”
As with all Lec Medical laboratory fridges and freezers, the new-sized models are spark-free to reduce the risk of an internal explosion, feature a temperature alarm, and have a lockable door to ensure that only authorised individuals are able to access the contents for security. They offer safe and reliable storage of volatile liquids, reagents, chemicals and samples.
The easy to use integral control panel makes checking the internal temperature straightforward, and the internal air temperature is kept stable as there is no need to open the door to check the temperature.
Both the LR307 fridge and ISU37 freezer have solid, reversible doors, and removable shelves on the LR307 give maximum storage capacity. They have low energy consumption and are CFC and HCFC free.
