Optical Imaging
Growing number of laboratory techniques at Photonex 2011 exhibition, 18 & 19 October 2011, Ricoh Arena Coventry.
Oct 05 2011
Visitors to Photonex 2011 with sister event Vacuum Expo are sure to find a perfect event for networking; to share knowledge and to access new solutions to the ever growing challenges in the world of photonics.
Have an unusual imaging, spectroscopic or microscopic measurement or investigation to undertake? If you want to solve a problem then Photonex, the exhibition about photonics technologies, is the place to go. Biophotonics, microscopy, camera technology, hyperspectral imaging, scientific imaging, sensing, spectroscopy, vacuum technology are all strongly covered amongst the exhibiting companies.
This year sees the 20th conference and exhibition highlight the expanding use of photonics technologies. The conference has multiple parallel sessions covering a wide variety of subjects. Past experience and responses from attendees in 2010 says delegates come to the meeting to discover solutions to the problems in their day-to-day work. The organisers have put together a program which offers educative tutorials complemented with international speakers from over a dozen countries to share the latest news of developments in diverse subjects such as biophotonics, optical metrology, scientific imaging, production line vision and thin films.
The conference is run in parallel with the UK’s largest exhibition for bringing together manufacturers and distributors of photonics products and technology. With companies coming from as far away as China, a first for the show, visitors can guarantee to be seeing the latest innovations. They will be able to see demonstrations on the exhibitor stands and listen to presentations on the considerable advances that have been made in the last twelve months.
Technology for laboratory and field included in the event
Analytical chemistry sensors, colour measurement, fluorescence microscopy, gas sensors, hyperspectral imaging, LIBS, life science imaging, live cell imaging, low light applications, luminescence, microscopy components, stages and slide handling, microscopes, custom microscopy systems, illumination, particle detectors, Raman, single molecule fluorescence, spectrometers, SPM.
Vision and Imaging at Photonex
Photonex has conference sessions covering a wide variety of subjects, notably for Imaging and Vision where it has rightly gained the reputation of the UK’s number one event.
“Vision and Imaging Technology Demystified: How to increase the reliability of processes using vision technologies”. The free conference is formatted in a ‘tutorial based’ style. Join Gilden Photonics for their free tutorial; “Hyper spectral Imaging”. This seminar explores the journey of the photon and seeing the invisible. Hyperspectral imaging can be used for measuring multiple parameters in food for example.
Potential visitors and contributors to the scientific programme are encouraged to visit the Photonex website (www.photonex.org) and register their interest today to receive regular electronic newsletters detailing the up to date additions to the agenda. With over 100 exhibiting companies expected in Coventry, the 2011 events are already on the way to success.
