Cherwell Invests in Industrial Microbiology Expertise

Cherwell Laboratories, specialists in products for environmental monitoring and process validation are pleased to announce the appointment of Abdulmajeed Raji (Ph.D Microbiology) as Microbiology Product Specialist.
Abdul has had many years’ experience working as a Microbiologist in a variety of sectors including; Academia (University of The Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa), Research and Development (King’s College, University of London) and industry (Estee Lauder UK, Siemens Healthcare and GSK Plc).
Abdul’s career has spanned involvement in microbiology process improvement & product development, quality control, and research & development in both classical and molecular microbiology. He has experience in the use of microbiological culture media for environmental monitoring and product testing; as well as in the formulation and development of culture media and techniques to facilitate the isolation and identification of microorganisms using different methods.
Abdul’s role at Cherwell will include direct technical and applications support for customers and distributors of Redipor Prepared Media and Biological Indicators. He will also be maintaining and developing the company’s understanding of regulatory requirements and scientific advances.
