Powerful Size Reduction for Diverse Materials

Customise your grinding task with cutting mill configuration

The Fritsch PULVERISETTE 19 and PULVERISETTE 19 Large Universal Cutting Mills offer a quick and effortless method for size reduction of a vast range of plastics/polymers and biological materials in both small and large quantities. These mills are particularly useful in applications related to recycling and the environment, production of secondary fuels/RDF in cement manufacturing, power generation, cannabis processing, and more. A stainless steel variant is also available to cater to the needs of the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

The cutting speed of the Fritsch P-19 and P-19 Large Cutting Mills can be optimally adjusted to suit any sample material, thanks to the gradually variable rotational speed setting. Moreover, the grinding chamber has a well-conceived structural design that ensures optimised hygienic cleaning, making it easy to maintain and operate.

The mills come with a variable rotational speed that ranges from 300 – 3000 rpm or 50 – 700 rpm, allowing for optimised torque. They also have a large feed size capacity of up to 70x80 resp. 120x85 mm and a high throughput rate of up to 60/85 l/h. The final fineness can be varied through the use of sieve cassettes ranging from 0.1 – 20 mm. The three-part housing and plug-in rotor design make maintenance easy and tool-free. The mills are compliant with GMP and RoHS regulations and are suitable for comminution of long solids such as cannabis, straw, or foils without the need for pre-crushing.

Flexible modular design

The Fritsch P-19 and P-19 Large Cutting Mills utilise a flexible modular principle that allows you to customise the mill to suit your specific sample material. This is achieved by simply changing the rotor, and selecting from a range of rotors and fixed knives with different cutting geometries made from various materials. You can also choose the sieve cassettes to determine the final fineness of your samples, while different funnels, collecting vessels, and stands made of different materials enable further configuration for your specific applications.

To enhance the feeding and cleaning process, you can connect the mill to a Fritsch high-performance or small volume Cyclone separator. This connection results in faster throughput, minimised thermal load of the samples, and higher final fineness.
