Moticam 580INT: convert your Motic BA microscope into a Digital Station

Jan 17 2013

Motic, brand of reference of conventional compound microscopes, a leader in affordable, high quality Digital Microscopy solutions, launches yet another high definition camera with integrated screen for immediate live view: the Moticam 580INT.  This camera is suitable for the recently presented BA Elite models, as well as for the well established BA410.

“With this new model everyday laboratory work becomes much easier and comfortable. Sharing and commenting images with your colleagues is now much more practical thanks to the screen located on the head of the microscope, and it is less straining on the eyes of the researcher.” states Dr. Cristina Silva (biologist and Motic product specialist). This flexible camera converts your microscope into a digital station, making it an ideal solution for laboratories, universities, teachers, doctors, veterinaries or anyone who wishes to effortlessly see and share digital images.

The HDMI connection guarantees 1080i live image with high quality and without losing speed, and it also allows connection to other devices (such as a beamer, flat screen…). The camera allows capturing pictures of 5MP and Full HD videos with its remote control.  The images / videos are stored directly on the SD card, allowing you to work without the need of a computer. Nonetheless it is also possible to connect the camera to AV-image devices or to a computer through USB. The well-known Motic Images Plus 2.0 software is included in the standard package.

With the new Moticam 580INT Motic expands once again its digital product range, after successfully introducing the Moticam X Wifi Camera in October 2012. Distributors worldwide agree on the fact that Motic’s range of CMOS and CCD cameras is one of the best in combining versatility, affordability and quality, as well as offering a professional after-sales service.
