The new Micro Volume DeNovix DS11FX UV/Visible/Fluorescence Spectrophotometer from Labcare
May 31 2015
With its compact, stand-alone design it is not connected to a PC and has no software to load. Just turn it on and it is ready to go. Busy laboratories will love the 4 second measurement time and time saving AutoRun function. Just pipette 1ul of sample onto the sample cell and measure.
The DS-11FX is a UV-Vis spectrophotometer with 190 to 840 nm full spectrum capability which makes it an ideal choice for many applications as well as protein and nucleic acid quantification. It also offers multi-channel fluorescence analysis.
Based on easy-to-use Android TM software, each EasyApp® has been developed to optimise your workload.
Features include:
• Touch screen to open apps.
• Full range of protein applications available.
• Switch between apps without closing.
• Add password protected accounts.
• Unlimited number of custom methods.
• All data auto-saved with easy export via USB or email to external devices.
With SmartPath® technology, the DS-11 automatically adjusts the microvolume pathlength to measure samples with absorbances from 0.04-500AU. No other spectrophotometer on the market can measure such high concentrations. This capability yields an effective range of 0.10 - 750 mg/ml BSA and 2.0 - 25,000 ng/ul dsDNA.
The fluorescence system uses 0.5ml thin-wall PCR tubes for the assays.
There are two models to choose from. In addition to the DS-11FX, the DS-11FX+ has full 10 x 10mm cuvette capability for more routine applications. It also features a Kinetics EasyApp® and built in heating device for 370C analyses.
