Antibacterial casings mimimise contamination

To support staff in busy settings like laboratories and other cleanrooms, TSC Printronix Auto ID has just launched variants of its TH DH Series of desktop printers and the Alpha-30LHC mobile printer, all encased in easy-to-clean, antimicrobial plastic. The devices will print barcode labels for tasks such as identifying and tracking samples and products.

The TH DH Series desktop printers are available in robust 2-inch and 4-inch versions, with 203 dpi or 300 dpi print options in each. Encased in bright white antibacterial enclosures, they can print up to 7,000† labels a day in widths from 10*mm to 120mm widths. Effortless to integrate and use, and with enhanced security, these devices will produce high-quality labels on a wide variety of media, including linerless.

For affordable, on-the-go printing, TSC Printronix Auto ID has also just added the Alpha-30LHC mobile printer to its popular Alpha Series 3-inch range. Encased in a robust, disinfectant-ready, grey and white plastic, the Alpha-30LHC is lightweight, comfortable, can print labels on demand and is rugged enough to withstand multiple drops of up to 2.5 metres.

The Alpha-30LHC uses USB, MFi Bluetooth® or dual-band Wi-Fi to easily connect to a mobile computer or smartphone and offers fast roaming as well as enterprise-level security to ensure reliable and safe operation.

Print on linerless media to support sustainability

TSC is committed to sustainability and reducing environmental impact and both the TH DH Series and Alpha-30HLC can print on linerless media, which, apart from benefits like printing labels of any length, helps reduce waste and supports sustainability objectives. The packaging and TH DH Series plastic casings are 100% recyclable, as are over 90% of its components. The TH DH printers casings are also made from 30% recycled plastic.
