Retsch – A suitable ball mill for every application

The newly launched Retsch Emax is an entirely new type of ball mill which was specifically designed for high energy milling.  The impressive speed of 2000rpm so far unrivalled in a ball mill, in combination with the special grinding jar design, generates a vast amount of size reduction energy.  The unique combination of impact, friction and a circulating grinding jar movement results in ultrafine particle sizes in the shortest amount of time.  Thanks to the new liquid cooling system, excess thermal energy is quickly discharged preventing the sample from overheating, even after long grinding times.   www.restch.com/emax

The Retsch Emax is just one of the ball mills in the Retsch ball mill family - the most extensive range in the world. Retsch’s range of ball mills comprises the new Emax, Planetary Ball Mills and Mixer Mills.  Mixer Mills are used for dry/wet/cryogenic grinding and homogenising small samples whilst Planetary Ball Mills provide fast and reproducible grinding down to the submicron range as well as mechanical alloying.  Whatever your requirements may be – Retsch has the perfect ball mill for your application.
