Intuitive operation via the ControlCOCKPIT

Sep 24 2012

The key element of the Memmert Generation 2012 is the ControlCOCKPIT. Under the motto “Touch, turn & go“, all settings on this elegant touchscreen display can be made in three simple steps. You can choose between two model variants, SingleDISPLAY and TwinDISPLAY, for universal ovens U, sterilisers S, incubators I and Peltier-cooled incubators IPP. The constant climate chamber HPP standard model features a TwinDISPLAY which uses both operating fields for settings and display due to the wide range of functions.

The heating and control concepts individually developed for all appliances, and respectively their reliability and precision, remain unchanged, as does the structured stainless steel that typifies Memmert products. Insulation, however, has been optimised. Even at 300 °C operating temperature, the surfaces, door and sides of Generation 2012 appliances are only moderately heating up. Thanks to newly designed door handles, the door can be opened and closed without causing vibrations, even with the elbows or feet if your hands are not free. In addition, recessed grips for safe carrying and easy handling in the laboratory add to the many new comfort functions of the Memmert Generation 2012 appliances.

Two model variants available
The models featuring SingleDISPLAY guarantee clear settings and the display of temperature, programme runtime, ventilation and air flap in the left-hand operating field. An Ethernet communication interface and the SetpointWAIT function, in which the process time only begins when the set temperature is reached at all measuring points, are included as standard.

The models with TwinDISPLAY provide a wide range of additional functions in the right-hand operating field, such as settings and display for appliance-specific parameters, display of historical data, USB slot for simple upload of programmes, personal user-ID or setting individual limit values for over-/undertemperature, over-/underhumidity and fan speed monitoring. The HeatBALANCE function regulates the heat capacity distribution for specific applications and the AutoSAFETY function activates the integrated over- and undertemperature monitoring system, which automatically follows the set value at an interval that can be freely selected.
