Next Generation Water Quality Meters Upgraded with Enhanced Features

Jul 17 2019

Horiba Instruments is proud to launch the new LAQUA 200 series handheld meters. These 5th generation Horiba LAQUA 210/220 handheld meters have been completely redesigned with several improvements and enhancements making it a compact yet powerful handheld meter.

The external housing is produced by a double injection moulding process, integrating two different materials into one. The external long lasting thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) offers superior grip, is impact resistant, able to withstand high temperatures and dirt/scratches can be easily wiped away. In addition, it is environmentally friendly as it is recyclable. A meter stand is now integrated at the back and the electrodes can be attached to the sides of the meter.

All LAQUA 200 series meters feature a new LCD with bright, white LED backlighting that automatically comes on whenever the meter is in operation.

The smiley face symbol annunciator serves as the stability indicator - quick and easy visual to indicate stable measured readings. Electrode condition status is clearly displayed on the screen and updated after each calibration – useful tool to plan for replacing the aged sensor.

The 220 series with up to 1000 data memory incorporates a real time clock for date/time stamping of both calibration and the data stored in memory. Both calibration and memory-data can be exported to a printer or PC.
