Biacore™ X100 2.0 and Biacore X100 Plus Package 2.0 add new and enhanced functionalities to the versatile, automated realtime molecular interaction analysis system.

Single-cycle kinetics is now the preferred method for kinetic analysis with Biacore X100 2.0, which also includes specifications for detection of small molecules (as low as 100 Da), and pre-programmed assay workflows for all Biacore Capture Kits. Single-cycle kinetics enables kinetic analysis without the need for sensor surface regeneration, reducing time taken to develop and run an assay and allowing analyses that would otherwise not be feasible due to difficulty in finding suitable regeneration conditions.

Biacore X100 Plus Package 2.0 features Calibration-free concentration analysis (CFCA), and software support for special considerationsin analysis of small molecules requiring DMSO for solubility. CFCA is a novel methodology for determining concentration related to specific binding activity without the need for a standard. Using CFCA can reduce error and improve accuracy in affinity and kinetics measurement. GE Healthcare.
