State-of-the-art Digital Displays Provide Customers with Improved Safety Features and Advanced Ease-of-use Capabilities

Jun 22 2007

Corning Life Sciences, a supplier of scientific laboratory and drug discovery products for more than 90 years, has announced the introduction of new CE marked digital hot plates, stirrers and stirring hot plates to its range of products available to customers in Europe. The new digital displays on these products feature : a digital temperature display adjustable in 5 degree increments and set temperature indicator; optimum digital stir speed display indicator; and an external temperature controller for precision accuracy.

Digital displays provide Corning Life Sciences customers with outstanding clarity, functionality, and brightness through easy-to-read LED indicated temperature and stir speed settings. The new stir and heat displays allow for specific settings that enable labs to establish routine protocols and help scientists to be more precise in their experiments. Corning's new temperature controller insures precision temperature accuracy of the liquid as opposed to the temperature of the plate.

"Corning Life Sciences is constantly looking at ways to enhance our leading products with new and innovative technologies to best help our customers improve their lab experience but also enhance the quality and accuracy of their research," said Jill Veilleux, worldwide product line manager, Corning Life Sciences. "Through our ongoing conversations with customers, we recognized the need to introduce a digital display feature and temperature controller to ensure a safer environment for easy, repeatable and accurate lab testing."
