Coronavirus Detection Kits Now Available  

Minerva Biolabs™ Viral RNA isolation and RT-qPCR Coronavirus detection kits are now available from Cambio. 

These products are carefully designed to detect RNA of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronaviruses (SARS-CoV) viruses by quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR). 

The RNA of a broad range of SARS-CoV viruses (CoV Screen) or specifically of SARS-CoV-2 virus (SARS-CoV-2 Confirm) can be extracted from various types of samples and analyzed by RT-qPCR.

SARS-CoV-2 has been first identified in 2019 as the causative agent of the infectious respiratory Coronavirus Disease COVID-19. These detection systems are available as kits (CoV Screen Kit and SARS-CoV-2 Confirm Kit) including the RT-qPCR enzyme mix ConviFlex™ RT-Taq Mix.  

To obtain RNA from your samples, you can use the ExtractNow™ Virus RNA kit or your established isolation method.
