New Flow Selection Valves Control Multiple Fluid Paths

Sep 04 2012

Bio-Chem Valve™ Flow Selection Valves reduce the number of connections and potential leak points in flow mixing and selection for highly aggressive and high purity fluid applications. Flow Selection Valves combine multiple valve actuators into a single compact unit around a central block, allowing mixing or selection of any combination of between two and eight individual source streams.

Flow Selection Valves use a flexible diaphragm that isolates the solenoid actuator from the fluid path. All wetted parts are constructed from highly inert, non-metallic materials such as PTFE or PEEK. Flow Selection Valves are available in a range of orifice sizes from 0.81mm to 3.17mm, and power ratings from two to eight watts.

Valves feature a radial manifold block, eliminating the differences in flow path length and timing found in linear manifolds. Each solenoid actuator is individually adjusted by the manufacturer to ensure equal flow rates at the same pressure.
