High-quality TOC analysis has never been as fast and cost-efficient!

The TOC analysers of the multi N/C® series from Analytik Jena offer exceptional quality “Made in Germany” combined with low-maintenance technologies for sample digestion, an environment-friendly low consumption of operating materials, as well as robust device engineering with a long service life.

The multi N/C® devices are equipped with state-of-the-art digestion technology, characterized by an extremely low consumption of catalyst material and exceptionally long lifetimes of the combustion tube – especially for extreme matrices. The corrosion-proof Focus Radiation NDIR detector ensures reliable results and high stability. Additionally a long-lasting calibration – enabled by the patented VITA® method – reduces the daily effort for maintenance and care of the device to a minimum.

The multi N/C® series was especially developed for an extremely high sample throughput.

A wide range of autosamplers is available for the automation of the analysers. You can determine the automation level yourself and thus the sample throughput in your lab. For high-throughput labs, autosamplers with a capacity of up to 116 samples are available. If you have lower samples throughputs in your lab, you need not work manually: Small, inexpensive autosamplers facilitate your work enormously.

The integrated sample homogenization (stirring), the automatic acidification and purge out features turn your autosampler into an all-rounder for sample preparation and feeding. In addition, time-optimized processes, such as parallel analysis and purge out, increase the sample throughput. While one sample is analysed, the next one is already under preparation. Thus, multi N/C® can analyse twice as many samples as other TOC analysers. Thanks to the Self Check System and integrated auto-protection, unattended 24/7 runs and further increase of sample throughput are possible.

Not only is the TOC determination fast, you can also save time for TNb determination. From one single injection you get two results – TOC and TNb – without converting the instrument or exchanging methods or catalysts.

multi N/C® – versatility at the highest degree

Using multi N/C® series, the parameters TOC, NPOC, POC, TC, TIC and TNb can be measured quickly and easily. The determination of drinking or waste water, of ultra-pure water or liquid and solid samples from the cleaning validation and other typical applications in the pharmaceutical lab are just a few applications of multi N/C®. Additional modules enable the analysis of solids, such as soil or waste samples.

The combination of efficient catalytic high-temperature combustion, VITA® Flow Management System, Focus Radiation NDIR-Detector, and flow injection with intelligent rinsing technology for particle-containing samples permits solid analysis as well as liquid analysis. The chemiluminescence detector (CLD) or the solid state chemodetector (ChD) can be used for the complete and reliable measurement of all organic and inorganic nitrogen compounds. The worldwide unique double furnace technique is another compact and space saving alternative.
