Pipettes
Look Closer Not All Transfer Pipettes are the Same
Feb 25 2015
Transfer pipettes are widely used in laboratories for many different applications, although some uses often require a more specialised approach.
During the last 30 years Alpha Laboratories has developed over 50 standard pipette designs in multiple packaging configurations. These evolved in response to a range of customer needs to provide quality solutions to suit their requirements. Other manufacturers only offer a limited range of designs that mean you have to change the way you work to suit the transfer pipette.
Alpha Pastettes® offer the widest range of sizes, lengths and tip designs, with single piece polyethylene construction, and the ability to customise, you’re certain to find the design to suit your specific application.
Throughout the development of the Alpha Laboratories Pastette range, quality has remained a priority. Manufactured to ISO 13485 with validated processes and quality control, Pastettes are CE IVD marked for complete peace of mind in diagnostic procedures (Standard Catalogue Products).
Manufactured from non-toxic, food grade LDPE, Pastette disposable transfer pipettes are shatterproof and safe to use. The resin used has a naturally low-affinity surface for complete sample delivery and is inert to prevent sample contamination. Furthermore, no release agents are used in their manufacture which could interfere with biological assays. The single piece construction avoids cross contamination and ensures ease-of-use, even for people with no knowledge of pipetting techniques.
Pastettes have a soft responsive bulb and are renowned for their special feel providing the most accurate control possible in this type of pipette. When it comes to transfer pipettes, choose Pastette, the name that delivers quality for all your application needs.
When you reach for Pastette®, you’re reaching for the best.
Micro Pastettes are just one of the Pastette ranges specifically designed to suite certain applications.
