Web Cast for Pharmaceutical Laboratories is Announced
Jun 20 2006
Hanson Research and Labtronics Inc. have teamed up to host a free Web Cast for pharmaceutical laboratories to address the critical need for integrating dissolution equipment with laboratory systems to ensure the integrity of dissolution data and provable regulatory compliance. The one-hour Web Cast entitled "Ensuring the Integrity of Your Dissolution Data" will take place Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 2
p.m. EDT North America. Interested parties can register at the Labtronics website.
The majority of dissolution testing is still handled by manual processes, which puts the integrity of the data at risk. Data is prone to errors caused by inaccurate transcription and standard operating procedures that cannot be precisely controlled using manual methods. When the integrity of the data is compromised, the safety and quality of the end product is compromised, putting consumer health at risk and the viability of pharmaceutical companies at risk from lawsuits and damage to their brands.
Addressing these key challenges, Roy Hanson, Chairman and CEO of Hanson Research, will open the Web Cast with a presentation on the latest trends and technologies for dissolution testing. He will introduce the concept of a centralized dissolution data system (DDS) for running, monitoring and collecting results electronically from dissolution equipment. A live product demonstration of Hanson Research's Bill Dissolution Data System (Bill DDS) will follow.
