New HPLC Columns for Ultra Fast, High Efficiency Separations

Phenomenex Inc., introduces the Luna® 2.5 µm C18(2)-HST columns.

The new Luna® 2.5 µm C18(2)-HST (High Speed Technology) HPLC columns from Phenomenex provide increased speed and efficiency for HPLC separations without the need for ultra-high pressures. Luna 2.5 µm C18(2)-HST HPLC columns deliver nearly the same efficiency, at a significantly lower operating pressure, when used at the same high linear velocities as columns packed with sub-2 µm particles. The lower operating pressure observed at fast flow rates with Luna HST allows the columns to be used within the operating pressure limits for conventional HPLC systems. Luna HST columns are compatible with both existing HPLC and newer UHPLC systems, thereby allowing for very fast separations to be accomplished on the widest variety of instrument platforms.

Luna 2.5 µm C18(2)-HST HPLC columns utilize the same high quality Luna media trusted around the world for excellent reproducibility, loadability and availability. Luna HST columns are available in 2 and 3 mm internal diameter, and 50 and 100 mm lengths.
