Renowned Award from Analytical Industry in China
Oct 01 2010
The Spectro ARCOS ICP-OES spectrometer from Spectro Analytical Instruments GmbH was distinguished as “one of the best new instruments in 2009” at this year’s ‘Annual Conference of China Scientific Instruments’ (April 9, 2010, Peking).
The Spectro ARCOS is high-end analytical instrument for optical emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma. The system is well suited to demanding analytical applications such as ultra-trace analysis in the environmental area, line-rich spectra in the metal industries and the analysis of organic materials in petrochemistry. Highlights include the optic that simultaneously records the wavelength range from 130 to 770 nm with its 32 linear CCD detectors as well as the extremely efficient and robust 27-MHz generator.
This was the fourth time in a row that Spectro was invited to take part as an exhibitor by the organisers of ACCSI. As one of the manufacturers in the area of spectrometry, the company presented its newest products – including the Spectro ARCOS flagship ICPOES – together with its General Manager China Operation, Pengfei Yuan.
The instrument was positively received by the Chinese experts and was, at the end of the partner conference, honoured with the renowned ACCSI-Award as one of the most innovative new instruments in 2009.
