    Cropscan 2000BF Bio-Fuels Analyser

The Cropscan 2000BF Bio-Fuels Analyser from NIR Technology is a powerful near infrared transmission spectrophotometer capable of measuring starch, protein, oil and moisture in cereal grains, oil seeds, sugar cane and sugar beats. As well the Cropscan 2000BF can measure semi liquid and liquid samples such as fermentation media, ethanol and bio-diesel. The instrument uses near infrared transmission
spectra rather than reflectance. This enables the system to measure solids, liquids and slurries in the one instrument.
The Cropscan 2000BF uses a moving sample cell to average spectra over a wide sample area and supports a range of sample cells for whole grains and seeds, slurries and liquids.
Calibrations have been developed for measuring starch in whole grains such as corn, wheat, barley and sorghum and oil in canola, soybean and other oil seeds.
As well calibrations have been developed for measuring liquids such as glycerin in biodiesel and ethanol in distillate and fermentation broth.
No other NIR analyser provides the ability to measure all sample types in bio-fuel production.
We also offer the FOP-38 On Line Analyser for measuring ethanol and biodiesel in stream.
