New NH2 (Amino) HPLC/UHPLC columns are Ideal for Sugar Analyses

Jul 12 2016

New ACE NH2 (Amino) columns from Advanced Chromatography Technologies are based on a proprietary bonding technology which provides high robustness and excellent column lifetimes. This high stability amino phase is ideal for the analysis of sugars and can be used in RP, NP, weak-anion exchange and HILIC modes. Available with ultra-inert, high efficiency 1.7, 3 and 5μm particles, ACE Amino is one of a wide range of carefully engineered ACE UHPLC/HPLC phases. These phases incorporate the latest developments in stationary phase technology in order to provide chromatographers with more choices for alternative selectivity but without compromising stability or robustness. Other phases include the ACE C18-AR which combines the hydrophobic characteristics of a C18 phase with the aromatic selectivity of a phenyl phase, the ACE C18-PFP which combines the hydrophobic characteristics of a C18 phase with the alternative selectivity offered by a pentafluorophenyl phase and the ACE C18-Amide and the ACE CN-ES (both phases offer alternative selectivity and are especially recommended for improved retention of polar compounds). Other products include the ACE SuperC18, a highly inert, highy pH stable C18 phase and ACE UltraCore, solid-core technology particle columns providing high efficiency separations but at reduced back pressures.
