In this paper, we will describe how nanoscale particles may be individually visualised (but not imaged) in liquids and from which higher resolution particle size distribution profiles can be obtained compared to other light scattering techniques. It is often claimed that a new instrumental technique is the “most easy to use” and “produces the best results in the shortest time” but in the case of using Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), this really is the case.
