The Top 100 Seal for Innovation

Established in 1968, Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau GmbH manufacture highly precise, environmentally friendly temperature control systems, with a temperature range from -120°C to 425°C and cooling capacities from 300W to 150KW.

Owned and run by the Huber family, the company employs over 200 members of staff in all areas of the business. For Huber, investing in the next generation of engineers, technicians and craftsmen has always been a priority. With seven Refrigeration Masters currently working in the Tango factory, Peter Huber can state with pride that since 1968, his company has been responsible for training over 60 refrigeration technicians. This level of knowledge and training has created an innovative environment where one third of the products developed are bespoke systems used in trans-industry applications.

The innovative management style of Huber is marked by a flat hierarchy and short paths of communication. The wealth of ideas are not just discussed, but lived. This unconventional approach has again seen the company awarded the Top 100 seal, for being one of the most innovative small and medium sized businesses in Germany.

Daniel Huber commented: “We were immensely pleased with the success of the previous year. Our workforce has shown great motivation, despite the crisis period. Huber innovation has revolutionised the world of temperature control technology and this renewed confirmation increases our motivation to belong to the best. With the support of our customers and the co-operation of our leading technical colleges our ideas become
reality allowing us to continue our innovative strategy without compromise into the future.”
