Temperature control and sterilising
A Small Package of Powerful Refrigeration Technology
Apr 28 2008
With the CF series JULABO presents four compact refrigerated/heating circulators. The units have small dimensions of only 24 x 46 x 40 cm and 28 x 46 x 46 cm (W x L x H) to free up space in technical installations. A permissible ambient temperature of +40°C as well as ventilation air-cooling allow placing the units right next to other equipment or installation under a fume hood. The models are divided into the 'Economy' Series (CF30 and CF40 models) with working temperatures from –30 °C or –40 °C up to +150 °C and the 'HighTech' Series (CF31 and CF41 models) with working temperatures from –30 °C or –40 °C up to +200 °C. Depending on the model, cooling capacities of up to 470 Watts can be reached.
The 'HighTech‘ models utilize an intelligent and self-optimizing ICC cascade temperature control with a stability of ±0.02 °C. Further features are a VFD display and an interactive LCD display for interactive operation in easy-to-read text, 3-point calibration, connection for external Pt100 sensor, RS232/485 interface, integrated programmer as well as an early warning system for low liquid level. The models also provide a powerful pressure and suction pump with an electronically adjustable flow rate of 22-26 l/min and a pressure capacity of 0.6 to 1.1 bar.
The 'Economy‘ models provide PID temperature control, reaching a stability of ±0.03 °C. The temperature is indicated on an LED display. The pressure pump capacity is 15 l/min or 0.35 bar.
All four models offer a heating capacity of 2 kW and conform to classification 3 according to DIN 12876-1. Furthermore all models feature pump connections for external temperature applications and a bath opening for temperature control of small objects directly in the circulator bath.
