Expanded Steel Freezer Rack Line
Nov 23 2010
Heathrow Scientific has made product improvements to their existing line of Steel Freezer Racks to coincide with a line expansion.
Heathrow Scientific now offers an even wider selection of rack sizes for both upright and chest freezers to accommodate safely stored samples in the most popularly-sized freezers. All racks are corrosion-resistant, stainless steel and have handles for easy access. Racks conveniently store boxes up to a 133 x 133mm footprint and accommodate 2” tall boxes (up to 53mm) and/or 3” tall boxes (up to 78mm)
depending on the rack model.
The line expansion gave the product development team at Heathrow Scientific an opportunity to review the design of the product. “We made some new generation improvements and tightened tolerances,” replied Pete Hadjis from Product Development. The line will now feature 17 SKU’s and offer customers more options. “Our customers have always appreciated that our racks can store a wide range of
popular brands of plastic or cardboard cryostorage boxes, along with our Heathrow Scientific Arctic Squares® boxes,” continued Hadjis.
Heathrow Scientific also researched current low temperature freezers that are available on the market and made certain that the racks matched the freezer specifications. “Armed with this information
we developed a dedicated website that lists appropriate racks to specific freezer brands and models,” Hadjis concluded.
Nine sizes will be available for the upright style freezers and eight for the chest style. Steel Freezer Racks are made for use in both regular and ultra-low freezers.
