Claire Wells has become the new head of customer services for hygienic furniture specialist Teknomek Ltd as part of its ongoing commitment to putting customers’ needs first. Previously a team leader in this business unit for the Norfolk-based company, Claire was delighted with the promotion, following substantial efforts she put into developing the post over three years: “I am very proud that this promotion acknowledges our team’s commitment to continuously improving Teknomek’s customer service provision, including reducing customer waiting time and advancing our workplace efficiency,” she said. “Our brand values focus on delivering excellent service and the importance of our customers’ happiness. This promotion really exemplifies that ethos and gives me scope to continue to develop and improve each customer’s experience.”
Company chairperson Tom Worth added that the promotion was offered due to extremely positive customer satisfaction numbers “94 percent of our customers are satisfied with the helpfulness and professionalism of our team. It is clear from Claire’s work, that we listen to our customers and that we strive to meet their needs.”
Claire has enjoyed a dynamic career at Teknomek over the past few years, having brought about and implemented significant improvements within customer service, streamlining of internal processes, establishment of a regular training programme and the introduction new services in response to customer feedback, leading to both an improved customer experience and reduced customer waiting time. Prior to joining the company Teknomek, she spent 13 years at Zip Water UK, progressing to the role of service support manager.
Claire added: “I’m really enjoying how the board at Teknomek empower us to do what is right for the customer and their trust clearly pays off.”
As a builder and supplier of furniture and equipment designed to help customers manage risk and meet strict compliance standards, the company serves and supports a wide range of hygiene-critical industries across the UK, Europe and beyond, from pharmaceutical companies and medical research to food processing, manufacturing and construction.
