2023 Medilink Healthcare Business Awards (NOE) shortlist
Feb 21 2023
The first round of judging in the 2023 Medilink North of England (NOE) Healthcare Business Awards has been completed, with the final awards due to be presented on March 23rd.
A regular and much anticipated feature of the medtech calendar, the Awards demonstrate successful collaborations between industry, academia and the NHS with entrants from suppliers of digital healthcare technology, through pharmaceutical development services to health science networks.
Tom Elliott, Medilink North of England MD, commented, “The standard of entry was extremely high and demonstrates the exceptional levels of innovation and creativity that exist in our region. The awards are an opportunity for these innovators to present their achievements to a wider audience and gain well-deserved recognition and appreciation of their accomplishments.”
The nine categories of award include innovation, recognising inventive technology, design and or processes; export achievement; advances in digital healthcare which improve existing or create new methods of healthcare delivery; partnerships with academia, celebrating the alliance of a business and academic institute in healthcare delivery; and sustainability which is awarded for commitment to driving positive change in corporate and social sustainability.
Partnerships with the NHS Awards fall into two categories: acute and primary care. These are awarded for development of a partnership in collaboration with industry and or the NHS which has delivered a major benefit.
Promising new companies are recognised in the start-up award and outstanding achievement by the award of the same name. All submissions will automatically be considered for the judges’ ‘One to Watch’ prize.
