Partnership to Help Companies Access International Markets

LGC and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE) signed a partnership agreement at the recent CPHI Conference held in Shanghai, which will bring LGC’s international expertise in the pharmaceutical market and in high product quality to the CCCMHPIE member companies.
Services offered include market assessment and product registration, reference standards and product testing, training and consultancy in quality and laboratory design and operation
Dr Derek Craston, LGC director for Science and Technology, said: “We are proud to be collaborating with the CCCMHPIE, bringing our own international expertise in product quality and registration across the pharmaceuticals and healthcare markets. This announcement is a key element to our international growth strategy and we look forward to sharing our experience in this new developing market.
Mr. Ni Rulin, president of CCCMHPIE said, “LGC is the global leading research institution focusing on the lab services, drug testing and provision of reference standards with a long history of more than 100 years and LGC’s specialized background has been widely acknowledged. We believe that the collaboration between us will furnish a special platform for the Chinese companies to access the international market.
