42nd International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2015)  - Geneva

The 42nd HPLC Symposium will be held in Geneva, Switzerland from 21st - 25th June hosted by the Division Analytical Sciences of the Swiss Chemical Society. The Symposium is one of the leading conferences in analytical chemistry, in particular in the field of separation sciences and related topics.

To cover the many aspects of this science the Conference is organised into 3 parallel sessions: 1) Core Separation Technology; 2) Hyphenated and Multidimensional Separations; and 3) High Impact Sample Preparation Separation and Detection

A 4th session will be dedicated to tutorials and short oral contributions from selected posters (deadline for submission is 1st April, 2015).

Leading scientists will present exciting plenary, keynotes and tutorial lectures: among them Robert Kennedy (University of Michigan, USA), Peter Jenny (CERN, Switzerland), Jack Henion (Ithaca, USA), Ruedi Aebersold (ETHZ, Switzerland), Mary Wirth (University of Purdue, USA), Peter Schoenmaker (University of Amsterdam, Holland), Emily Hilder (University of Tasmania, Australia), Guowang Xu (University of Dalian, China), Luigi Mondello (University of Messina, Italy) and Thomas Hankemeier (University of Leiden, Holland). A special session will be dedicated to Georges Guiochon to pay respect and honour his lifelong contributions to separation sciences.

The conference holds a large exhibition, and lunchtime seminars allow participants to access the latest developments from the industry.

The conference recognises the contributions of young scientists with the Csaba Horváth Award, given in memory of Csaba Horváth who among many contributions fostered the careers of young people. Travel grants are available and young scientists are encouraged to apply.

Furthermore an exciting social program awaits. Geneva’s international flair and easy accessibility from all major European cities provides an animating framework. The city also offers a wide range of accommodations from affordable budget stays to five star hotels.

HPLC 2015 thus offers a unique opportunity to access the latest developments in a stimulating and friendly environment.
