Duran Group Announce Management Changes

Having been vice-president of sales since April 2006, Mr. Merz has a degree in industrial engineering; he started his career in international
sales in 1997, at what is now today SCHOTT AG.
He acted as Product Manager, labglass and Vice President Sales of Schott Medica GmbH for several years and became responsible for
SCHOTT AG`s corporate new business activities before changing to DURAN Group in 2006.
The DURAN Group is a world leading manufacturer of borosilicate glass, a special glass invented in 1887 by Otto Schott and registered under the brand name DURAN® in 1938. In 2005, Schott Duran was hived off
from the SCHOTT Group and acquired by the ADCURAM Group AG. Since then the company has traded under the DURAN Group umbrella. It has factories in Mainz, Germany, Wertheim, Germany and Pula, Croatia. It controls the complete value-added chain from the melting process to precision forming and working processes.
