Meeting Presents Opportunity for Training and Networking
Jul 23 2023
A gathering of its representatives and partners in June saw particle milling and sizing industry specialists Fritsch welcoming almost 60 representatives, mostly from Europe and Asia, back to its Idar-Oberstein headquarters in Germany for an extensive sales meeting and hands-on training. "After almost 3 years of virtual meetings, video conferences and webinars, it was a super good feeling to have almost the entire Fritsch family around us again,” said Managing Director Sebastian Fritsch.
One of the highlights was the presentation of new instrument developments in the field of particle sizing and getting to know the particle team around consultant Maik Paluga. During hands-on training, everyone was able to work with both the ANALYSETTE 28 ImageSizer and the ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT laser particle sizers.
A team led by Technical Manager Juri Dinges also presented the new mini cutting mill, the PULVERISETTE 29, ideal for comminution of small sample quantities, for example, of grain, seeds or plastics and other materials with a low specific density. The sales partners had the opportunity to work directly with the instrument in the laboratory where Leos Benes, Head of the Applications Laboratory and his team provided information on applications and gave helpful tips and tricks on sample preparation.
The main focus of the morning on the second day was led by Anne Kerstin Weidner, Head of Marketing and her colleagues who presented the company’s new strategy with concepts and planned campaigns. The meeting provided partners with the opportunity to contribute their thoughts regarding marketing and product development in a subsequent interactive workshop, with their feedback described as more than welcome.
The active engagement of all participants and their personal commitment as well as the social part of the Fritsch partner meeting and the networking among the individual participants made the meeting really successful. "Once again, thanks very much to all of you for taking the time and especially for your constructive input. We learned a lot from you. We are proud to be represented by such great partners worldwide," said Sales Manager Wolfgang Simon.
