Forensics Europe Expo: 29-30 April 2014, London

Forensics Europe Expo (FEE) 2014,  is a dedicated international forum for the entire forensics sector and supply chain, bringing together over 160 conference delegates with over 3000 attendees and 70+ international exhibiting companies. Visitors will be drawn from all aspects of forensics activity from across Europe: from evidence collection by the Police, Military and Intelligence Agencies; to those involved in any type of investigation and court presentation that requires the analysis of evidence, including lawyers, government bodies and agencies; through to private organisations and the labs themselves.

The closure of the Forensic Science Service in March 2012 has forced the forensic landscape to evolve into an “Open Market.” There is now, more than ever, a need to understand new legislation, and the impact and future challenges it will have on the availability, procurement and supply of forensic analysis & products and the future challenges facing the market.

FEE will once again run it's highly successful FREE to attend two day Seminar Programme in the theatre located on the show floor, where leading suppliers and experts will share latest industry updates, exclusive case studies, and product demonstrations.

The Crime Feature Demo Area will also feature leading exhibitors showcasing their latest products and solutions. Crime scene scenarios will be role played during the two days, giving attendees the chance to see and experience newest techniques and expertise at first hand.

Innovation in forensic science is a true phenomenon that has been embraced by law enforcers, academics and industry professionals across the world in a way that could not have been predicted even a decade ago. Such advancements have transformed the evidential potential that is now available to investigators that has enabled them to secure successful prosecutions – often years after a crime has been committed. The conference will be a celebration of these advancements, examining them in detail and debating present and future challenges that will occur as a result

Day 1 of the Conference (Tues 29th April) will be opened by Chairman Professor John Cassella, Department of Forensic Science and Crime Science, Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science', Staffordshire University. The programme will focus on current and future forensics services provision and international projects, followed in the afternoon by forensic innovation highlights and findings in DNA analysis.

Day 2 (Weds 30th April) will be hosted by Chairman Allan Scott, Forensic and Policing Services Association, with presentations on today’s forensic landscape and land and water search methods. Crime Scene Investigation methods will then be followed in the afternoon by new forensic techniques and forensic toxicology.
