International Cleanroom Specialist Launches Ambitious Growth Bid

Aug 25 2017

Connect 2 Cleanrooms has set an ambitious target to more than double its turnover to £20 million by 2020.

The award-winning firm is the European leader in supply of bespoke modular cleanrooms, and supplies validation services and consumables worldwide.

Launched in 1992 by managing director Joe Govier and wife Lizzie, Connect 2 Cleanrooms has relied on inward investment for growth, never taking loans or credit. It plans to expand its premises nationally and internationally and grow market share.

“We have built a pedigree in the sector and are now internationally renowned for the quality of our designs, manufacturing, installations, customer service and integrity,” Joe said.

“We’ve gained blue chip clients who have created some of the most innovative technologies of recent years, and it is wonderful to know we have played a part in these developments. Our years of experience and level of operation have enhanced our reputation and given customers confidence.

“We have set strong foundations for our rapid growth targets, including a bespoke, integrated e-commerce platform, expansion of our operations team and creation of a territory-based sales team. Also key was the development of our company values. These show customers that we understand their needs and we are able to help achieve them.”

Concentration on SEO from a very early stage gained Connect 2 Cleanrooms a strong online foothold, enhanced by its e-commerce site – Cleanroomshop.com.

Growth has been boosted by customer and product data streams, which are followed up with targeted responses, including bespoke sales information. This benefits new and existing customers, through product development and proactive problem solving via remote monitoring, and the business itself can make informed marketing decisions.

Connect 2 Cleanrooms will be showcasing their latest innovations at the Advanced Engineering Exhibition on 1 and 2 November at the NEC, Birmingham, stand B50.
