Q. What are the awards all about?

Our mission: By hosting the Labmate Awards for Excellence 2025 we will celebrate the laboratory sector's achievements – and best practice worldwide – and recognise success and progress across our industry in 2025. The awards seek to recognise innovation, quality and achievement wherever it occurs within the laboratory sector. 

Q. Why is International Labmate running the awards?

The Labmate group of publications has been celebrating its 50^th anniversary in business and as part of this achievement we want to invite the industry that we have been showcasing for all these years to be able to take a well-deserved bow. There are no caveats. It is completely free to enter.

Q. What does International Labmate get out of this?

Simply put, your success is our success, and so by celebrating the very best that our industry has to offer generates not only good publicity for you – if you are a winner – but also for us… as a practical matter, the whole process will generate great stories and content for us. When you do well then, we do well.

Q. So, there’s no catch?

No catch, no caveat and no cost.

Q. So, I won’t be asked to buy and advert or a sponsorship first?

No.

Q. What do I get if I win?

Category winners in the Labmate Awards for Excellence 2025 will receive, alongside the coveted trophy and year-long kudos, an article in the Labmate publications which will detail all the reasons why they were selected as finalists. There will be the usual social media posts announcing the winners and promoting the article, alongside a dedicated email blast to the entire readership that will also announce the winners. There will be a suite of ‘winner’s badges’ for you to add to emails and include in your own marketing materials if you wish. And there will be the option to have a short video interview made with us to be included on our social media.

Q. What are the rules for entry?
The winners of the Labmate Awards for Excellence 2025 will be decided through an initial process of shortlisting by a Labmate Awards for Excellence judging panel, and the finalists will be put forward to voting by Labmate’s readers, contributors and partners.
All International Labmate Limited decisions are final.

• Any entry submitted after the deadline date of 23.59hrs on 17 April 2025 will not be accepted into the competition.
