Retirement of Linda Tibbett
Sep 14 2010
Scientific instrument manufacturer Biochrom recently marked the retirement of Linda Tibbett, an employee for thirty three years, with a celebratory lunch. Back in 1976 Biochrom made the very sensible decision to employ
Linda to solder and assemble printed circuit boards for its range of amino acid analysers and later high quality spectrophotometers.
Linda is looking forward to enjoying more time with her grandchildren. At a special retirement lunch held at Biochrom’s manufacturing plant and offices in the heart of the Cambridge (UK) Science Park, Richard Bishop,
Finance Manager spoke of her long and successful service within the company and her transition from soldering into accounts. “Linda made a smooth transition into book keeping and is a loyal, trustworthy and hardworking employee,” said Mr Bishop.
Amanda Moss, Personnel Director, explained “Biochrom maintains very close relationships with its employees and many are very skilled and have been with us for a long time. We aim to help every member of staff achieve
to their full potential as it helps to make sure our instruments are the very best they can be. Linda was our longest serving employee and has done us proud”
