National Oceanography Centre Chooses High Class Polarising Microscopes.

Dec 10 2007

The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton recently took delivery of a class set of forty PriorLux Polarising Microscopes, from Prior Scientific, for use in their undergraduate laboratory.

Professor John Marshall, Chairman of the Microscope Steering Committee at the NOC said "It is important that our students have the appropriate tools to help them learn the identification of minerals. We undertook a very detailed assessment of the market and Prior were clearly technically the best at a very competitive price. Our previous set of Polarising Microscopes has given us excellent service in terms of sturdiness and reliability for over 20 years, so we were pleased to upgrade them with Prior’s latest model."
