High Image Quality Microscopes

Aug 15 2012

The Hund microscopes of the Medicus series are first choice products due to their high image quality and long lifetime in the fields of biological education, medical practises and hospitals.

After the successful introduction of the retrofitable LED fluorescence attachment for all common fluochromes, Hund is continuing the innovation of the Medicus family.

In addition to a 20 W halogen illumination Hund offers now variants with LED illumination for transmitted light. The 3 W- LED illumination with constant colour temperature features a long life time of 10.000 h and low energy consumption compared to halogen lamps. Thus the replacement of halogen lamps becomes obsolete. The moderate additional price for the LED variants is therefore amortised rapidly.

The LED illumination is suitable for models with bright field and phase contrast and therefore usable for a broad field of applications. The change from halogen- to LED illumination and vice versa is easily possible by the user with a few simple touches.

For the investigation of native blood in darkfield contrast a specific version with LED illumination, darkfield condenser and objective 100:1 with iris diaphragm is available.

Hund microscopes ‘Made in Germany’ are standing for durability, failure-free operation and competent consultancy of users.
