Analytical scientists are faced with many problems in the lab. One problem is they are required to analyse larger and larger sets of analytes out of very complex and dirty matrices. Another problem is that sample preparation is a very time consuming and tedious part of any analytical workflow. Supel™ Genie Online SPE cartridges are a sample preparation solution that offers a seamless workflow from start to finish performed entirely “online” the LC instrument. These cartridges are designed for direct injection of untreated samples (e.g. water and urine) or processed samples (e.g. protein-precipitated plasma and serum), for analysis with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC/MS). The Supel Genie Online SPE cartridges enable online sample cleanup, concentration, and separation with excellent reproducibility and performance. Coupled with mass spectrometry for detection, the Supel Genie Online SPE cartridges provide a simple, automated method for sample analysis and are ideal for use in LC/MS/MS analysis.
We currently offer 3 phase chemistries to accommodate a broad array of applications for biological as well as food and environmental samples:
- HybridSPE® -- for removal of phospholipids (a leading cause of matrix effects) from biological matrices
- C8 -- for reversed-phase extraction of hydrophobic or nonpolar to moderately polar compounds
- RP-Amide -- for reversed-phase extraction of nonpolar to polar compounds (offering improved performance for polar analytes)
