CO2 Incubator Ideal for Cell Culture Applications
Aug 28 2019
The CO2 incubator from Wiggens is ideal for the cultivation of animal cells, sperm/ovum, anaerobic cells, all sorts of microbe cells, hatching/germinating and special tissues.
The high quality CO2 Incubator developed and produced by Wiggens has excellent temperature uniformity, CO2, O2 (optional). The electric heating wire is covered on all sides of the chamber allowing warm air from this wire to be stored within the space between the chamber and insulation. All of these design features make for stable uniformity and provides fast heat-up and temperature recovery. Additionally, dry wall with insulation does not require regular maintenance. All three parts of the heating section are controlled and calibrated individually by three temperature sensors. Regardless of temperature and humidity, sensors provide extremely fast and precise detection for CO2 gas.
The heater warming the water in the tray creates humidity. A circulation fan then delivers the moisture formed from the water throughout the entire chamber. A glass door heater prevents condensation. The 4 watt UV light, placed on the ceiling of the chamber alongside the circulation fan, ensures sterilisation during culturing.
The alarm system sounds a buzzer to warn users of low or high CO2 deviation and temperature. A safety device automatically shuts off the heat when the temperature control fails or there is excessive heating over the set point. The entire chamber is made of stainless steel, and the rounded corners allows easy cleaning. The stainless steel, perforated shelves permits natural airflow and are resistant against rust and contamination.
