Programmable Circulators Offer Precise and Powerful Temperature Control for External Applications
Nov 06 2013
PolyScience now offers sixteen low temperature circulators that provide precise temperature control for demanding external applications. Ideal for controlling exothermic and endothermic reactions, PolyScience Advanced Programmable and Performance Programmable Refrigerating/Heating Circulators feature operating temperature ranges as broad as -40° to 200°C, temperature stabilities as precise as ±0.005°C, and are available in reservoir sizes from 7 to 45 liters. Typical applications include the control of jacketed reactor vessels and reaction blocks as well as polymerization, polycondensation, and distillation. The Circulators’ variable-speed pressure/suction pump is capable of delivering pressure flow rates as high as 20.1 LPM.
Key to the excellent performance of these sophisticated Refrigerating/Heating Circulators are a programmable controller with touch-screen display. Models with the Advanced Programmable controller are capable of storing ten 100-step time/temperature programs, while Performance Programmable models have no restriction on the number of programs or program steps that can be stored. Also key is their ability to control temperature right at the point of application, which eliminates temperature shifts due to heat loss along tubing lines. Other standard features include RS232/RS485 and Ethernet communications capability, multi-language help menus, and a 4.3” SmartTouch display.
