Huber show new MPC thermostat at Analytica 2012

Apr 04 2012

In 140m² of stand, centred around the exhibition tower, Huber present the newest innovations in high precision and environmentally friendly temperature control technology. Visitors to Hall B2, Stand 311 / 414 will see the new MPC thermostat as well as the well-known best sellers such as the Unistats, Ministats and Chillers.
Huber has replaced the low cost MPC thermostats with new, improved models. The controllers have a new design and now offer an RS232 interface as standard. Additionally temperature control has been improved, now providing a continuous resolution of 0.1 °C over the entire temperature range. MPC thermostats are ideal for many laboratory applications including samples, analysis, materials testing or for external control of instruments and experimental setups.

Unistats offer highly precise, professional scale up from development to production. Over 100 models cover the temperature range -120°C to +425°C offering cooling and heating powers up to 250 kW. Unistats can be used in conjunction with steam or cooling brine circulation and can therefore be used for production systems beyond the 10 m³- class. With the addition of the Petite Fleur, there are now Unistats available from cooling powers of 480 watts at 20°C.

Huber Ministats are the smallest cooling thermostats in the world! 3 models are available as either air or water cooled versions. They offer working temperatures from -45°C to +200°C and cooling capacities of 600 watts. Despite their size Ministats have enough power to thermoregulate photometers, refractometers, viscometers, distillation apparatus, reactor vessels and mini plants and their compact form allows them to be placed in areas where space is at a premium. Ministats can be used to control externally closed applications or alternatively objects can be thermoregulated directly within the bath.

The Minichiller and Unichiller range offer more than 50 air and water cooled models with cooling powers from 0.3 kW to 100 kW. When compared to conventional tap water cooling chillers offer better rates of efficiency, stable pressure and flow rates, and a constant cooling water temperature.
