Titration goes digital - connect your SmartChemicals to your titrator
Jul 03 2019
A new titration technology, using Supelco® SmartTitrants and SmartStandards, transfers your essential data seamlessly to the titrator. Just a brief touch on the SmartChemical RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag saves time, reduces errors and always ensures data integrity.
Seamless transfer of titration data via RFID tag
Eliminate time-consuming steps and errors by transferring data wirelessly and instantly. Just a simple touch transfers all data in seconds.
All information needed for method execution, result calculation and documentation is seamlessly transferred:
- Product name
- Article number
- Lot/batch no
- Concentrations
- Date of release
- Shelf life
When using titration standards, the following additional information is also transferred:
- Molecular weight
- Supplier name
- Compliance according to pharmacopeias and ISO
- Measurement uncertainty
All critical titration data are stored—including the initial opening date
Previously opened chemicals are also recognised, the initial opening date is stored in the RFID tag and is shown on the touchscreen. Expired chemicals are automatically locked from use.
All relevant data from the certificate of analysis are stored on the RFID tag of the SmartChemical. Titripur® volumetric solutions, Certipur® volumetric standards and all Aquastar® Karl Fischer titrants and standards are embedded with a SmartChemical RFID tag.
Benefits of using SmartChemicals for your titration
- Secure data transfer—ensures complete and correct reagent & standard data transfer in the titration software
- Ease of use—intuitive operation and convenient data transfer in one touch
- Extended quality management—titer determination, shelf life, compliance data, initial opening date, release date
- Improved efficiency—fast data transfer - safes time - no manual writing and no four-eyes principle necessary
