Battery Applications:

The new Autolab DuoCoin Cell Holder has 4-point gold-plated contacts to assure the highest precision measurements for your battery research. A versatile accessory that can accommodate all standard coin cells sizes with capacity for smaller and larger non-standard cells. Two cells can be analysed at the same time.

Autolab DuoCoin Cell Holder gold plated contacts and gold plated PCB provide protection from corrosion and damage to the accessory in your busy laboratory.

Experimental set up is simplified with the Autolab DuoCoin Cell Holder with visible electrode labels and cable connections that correspond to the Autolab potentionstat/galvanostat cable colours. Autolab’s attention to detail is reflected in the silicon surface grippers on the bottom of the Autolab DuoCoin Cell Holder to provide stability on a busy lab bench.

Energy Applications:

Autolab Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) and Autolab Rotating Ring Disc Electrode (RRDE)

Are you engaged in Oxygen Reduction Reaction (ORR)? Are you using forced convention? Rotating disk and rotating ring-disk measurement provide valuable insights in the kinetics and mechanism involved in the reaction.

The Autolab rotating disk (RDE) and rotating ring disk (RRDE) setups are high-precision and low-friction rotators which can be used to create and control convective mass transport in an electrochemical cell. The rotation rate can be controlled either manually or directly through the NOVA software.

The mercury contacts used in these rotators ensure that the electrical contact to the electrodes remains noise-free at any rotation rate.

The experimental characterisation of these electrocatalysts require the cleanest possible conditions as impurities may lead to incorrect data and conclusions. Metrohm Autolab also offer a complete electrochemical cell designed for experiments under forced convection with the Autolab RDE or RRDE.

Corrosion Applications:

ASTM compliant Corrosion Cell. Immediately start your corrosion research with a prepared high quality 1L ASTM standard corrosion cell. The cells are designed to mesure the corrosion propoerties of circular samples immersed in an electrolyte. The cell can be connected to a waterbath and comes with sample holder, reference electrode, 2 counter electrodes, thermometer, and gas inlet. The reference electrode is positioned close to the sample by using a Luggin caplilary. In addition the cell comes with a thermostatic jacket and a two way gas inlet that is very useful when executing experiments especially CPT.

The NOVA software has 7 corrosion techniques including builit-in data analysis of corrosion rate, electrochemical noise and impedance spectroscopy.
