Labplant RP100 & RP60 Immersion probes, simplicity and reliability
Dec 03 2013
Eliminating the need to use and store potentially dangerous, dry ice and liquid nitrogen. Labplant offer a compact, reliable cooling solution, extremely user friendly with a choice of standard or custom probes.
Labplant refrigerated immersion probes are perfect for the rapid cooling of liquids down to low temperatures, with self-tuning PID digital controller and temperature sensing PT100 probe, which control temperatures by adjusting the flow of refrigerant to the cooling probe using a solenoid valve. We offer three different probes as standard, which are, standard flexible, long flexible and short rigid. Customers can also have a custom designed probe made to suit their own unique application.
LabPlant refrigerated immersion probes are extremely simple to operate. The probe is immersed in a suitable liquid, usually methanol in a dewar vessel or other well insulated liquid container.
The refrigeration system is then switched on, (if using versions fitted with controllers), the PT100 sensor is also immersed in the same dewar as the probe, then the PID controller set to the required temperature. We always recommend that the best temperature stability is achieved if the liquid is stirred.
RP60 & RP100
Basic units with continuous cooling requiring external temperature control.
RP60CD & RP100CD
Controlled units with PID digital controller and temperature probe; they control temperatures by adjusting the flow of refrigerant to the cooling probe using a solenoid valve. Accessories Details of insulated stainless steel baths and stirrers are available on request.
