Hach Ultra Aligns with Hach Lange to Improve Service
Jan 27 2009
Incorporating major instrumentation brands such as Orbisphere, Polymetron, Anatel and Met One, HACH ULTRA manufactures test and monitoring instrumentation for gas and liquids monitoring in markets such as beverages, petrochemical, electronics, power and life sciences.
Commenting on the initiative, HACH LANGE UK & Ireland Managing Director Darin Stell says, "There is an extremely good fit between the two ranges of instrumentation which means that customers will be provided with a broader choice of market leading instruments from process control to laboratory analysis instruments and from samplers to wastewater monitoring systems.
"The move will also greatly strengthen our service capability; with 24 engineers spread all over the UK and Ireland, we will be able to deliver the best possible levels of service and support. The addition of an office near Edinburgh will help to ensure that our Scottish customers can expect a fast effective service."
In line with the company`s philosophy of continual improvement, all sales, service and repair work will now be undertaken at the HACH LANGE facility in Manchester. This will streamline the processes with which orders and service work are handled and ensure that customers receive a prompt and effective service.
The new HACH LANGE sales teams will be split into four sections addressing the key markets:
1. Laboratory team (Manager: Matthew Dillon)
2. Process municipal team (Manager: John Moroney)
3. Process industrial team (Manager: Gareth Hughes)
4. Life sciences and electronics team (Manager: John Saxton)
The HACH LANGE Service teams, led by Terry Bailey, are also focused on these market sectors.
Former HACH ULTRA UK General Manager and now General/Key Account Manager for the combined business, Nigel Spencer, says, "This is an exciting development for the company and one which will ensure that the two businesses rapidly exploit potential synergies such as larger service teams and product development. This will ensure that we are able to help customers to minimise costs and maximise the benefits of using leading edge monitoring technologies."
