New Scale Series Unites Durability and Precision
Aug 15 2012
The Warrior is a recent addition to the scale and balance market, and it is taking the science of weighing to new levels of strength and performance. These robust scales are well-suited for the food industry and pharmaceutical processing, and ideal for the production line or for clean-room environments.
Designed with intuitive features, the Warrior series is comprehensive, featuring seven models with capacities from 16lb/8kg to 330lb/150kg, and readabilities from 0.001lb/0.5g to 0.02lb/10g. Warrior scales weigh in grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, pounds/ounces and newtons. These scales offer selectable multi-language text for printing. Applications include weighing, parts counting, percentage weighing, dynamic/animal weighing, check weighing and check counting.
The Warrior’s 304-grade stainless steel construction and AE-402 indicator are IP66 rated, meaning the Warrior is protected against heavy dust and wet environments. Rubber feet with stainless steel threads ensure stability during weighing. The indicator is adjustable and rotates 360 degrees. Three LEDs streamline check-weighing to show if the weight is below, at or above the desired weight and the capacity tracker warns of pending overloads. The LCD is brightly backlit and boasts 40mm-high digits. The keypad is designed for efficiency, with large, colour-coded keys for easy recognition.
The RS-232 bi-directional interface facilitates speedy communication with computers and printers. Power is supplied by an adapter or the built-in rechargeable battery, while automatic external calibration is standard.
