Enjoy Remarkable Readability and Reliable Results With New Analytical and Precision Balances

Aug 14 2018

Featuring a high-resolution graphic display and intuitive features, Adam Equipment’s Solis analytical, milligram and precision balances provide an outstanding solution for complex lab weighing tasks.

Solis is ideal for research and quality assurance labs; science education; precision counting; and pilot production and manufacturing applications needing precision results. Available in a wide selection of precision, analytical and semi-micro models, Solis offers capacities up to 8,200g with readabilities of 0.1mg, 1mg and 0.01g. Dual-range, semi-micro analytical models boast capacities of 120g and 220g and a readability of 0.01mg. Ideal for labs that test large samples, Solis models with 410g and 510g capacity offer 0.1mg analytical readability.

Data is readily visible on the large graphic display, so users can view information simultaneously instead of scrolling through different screens. Multilingual capability facilitates use in various regions. Used and available capacity can quickly be monitored by viewing the tracker located prominently on the left side of the display.

The keypad features easy-to-read buttons and helpful navigation arrows. Formulation is simplified, as Solis stores up to 99 ingredients. Memory accumulation totals results, while the hold function freezes the displayed weight.

An audible alarm makes checkweighing speedy and smooth, and parts counting is simple with preset sample sizes. Other applications include percentage weighing, dynamic/animal weighing, accumulation, and density determination.

We designed Solis with a compact footprint that takes up minimal room on desks or in crowded labs. The pan is constructed of sturdy grade 304 stainless steel to allow swift, thorough cleaning.

Solis is equipped with a level indicator and adjustable feet, ensuring proper balance setup for optimum weighing results. Models with 1mg readability are equipped with a sliding door draft shield, boosting accuracy by eliminating the effects of breezes. Selectable digital filtering minimises the effects of vibration and disturbances.

Printouts provided by the balance include date and time, essential for traceability and data tracking within Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines. An RS-232 interface is available for speedy connection to computers and printers. Solis provides external calibration, allowing for verification and adjustment with weights. Some models are available with built-in motorised calibration capability.

Solis incorporates important security features to provide added protection for your investment. Security password control requires authorisation before the balance can be accessed, ensuring settings remain unchanged. To help prevent theft, Solis also features a slot that accommodates an optional Kensington-type lock and cable.
