Zero Air Generation - More to it than you imagine
Dec 22 2014
Zero air generators are widely available, apparently quite simple instruments but they are not all the same.
cmc Instruments range of zero air generators use comparatively low energy and have excellent heat exchange characteristics. The catalytic element does not need regular changing. The functional design allows easy inspection and maintenance yet offers little chance for things to go wrong. Like all products made by cmc Instruments, they are designed and manufactured in Germany. What does all this mean?
- Lower running cost
- Lower consumables cost
- Less downtime
- Quality you can trust
It all adds up to results you can depend upon, excellent asset protection and large cost savings in the long term. cmc Instruments are in the business of generating zero air – not service revenue. cmc first made zero air generators 20 years ago and they are still in service today. How many other manufacturers can say that?
The ZA series of zero generators is available in seven different capacities from 2 - 1000 l/min output. This means you can run up to 160 FID’s from a single generator. Each model can be customised to your own specification with pressure, flow or temperature controls and auto switchovers in case of supply failure. Fittings and outlets are matched to your existing equipment.
cmc Instruments manufacture a wide range of gas generators including nitrogen generators for LC-MS applications and hydrogen generators for GC applications, PSA Nitrogen and TOC gas generators.
